18th & State; The Trifecta
Those who call Quincy home already know of the trifecta of comfort food that awaits you. Whether you’re in the mood for home fried cooking, fried chicken to frog legs, Elders is an ongoing local legend. If that doesn’t wet your whistle, why not grab a slice of another Quincy tradition as well as the oldest pizza place, Gem City Pizzeria.
Now, I’m not going to lie to you and claim this is a health food, but it makes the soul smile. Especially because TCBY yogurt is just across the street. This delicious and healthier alternative to ice cream is just the price of mind you need to make up for that fried food or entire pizza you just ate.
Eating out in Quincy, Illinois…..and that’s just one intersection.

Travis, there is really nothing to be angry about here. The LiveLocal Quincy group is freely sharing all materials (logo, website and brochure) with all communities to get a live local movement going regionally and even perhaps nationally.
As part of the agreement to share the logo, the Live Local Quincy group specifically asked us to change the color of the logo so it would differentiate our community. This same process has already taken place with other communities in the region. We each choose our own unique color scheme.
I tried diligently to get original Adobe Illustrator files and all I received were jpeg files. As you know jpeg files are not nearly as crisp and clean. I too would like a better quality file, and will take you up on your offer of the clean logo files. Perhaps a better move might be to share the files with Travis Brown and Becky Albert since they are the folks distributing the files to other communities.
One final comment, I’ve been in this industry for over 25 years and understand both copyright laws and the immorality of plagiarism. My office would never purposely “steal” your designs as we have plenty of five designers on staff and believe strongly in creating our own unique work.
Hope after this we remain LinkedIn partners.
